Vehicle: Anakin's Pod Racer

Date Created: Late June of 2000. Originally a Mitsubishi Galant.
The outside has almost all the emblems, striping, and hood designs from the Anakin's Pod Racer.
It's a long story about why I decided to do this, even though I didn't have my Husbands approval at first. Long story short... I ended up with a gray car, too boring in my book. I am a little odd anyway, so the more I thought about it, I had to make into reality. I had to have a door repainted and it just went from there. Initially I was going to paint it on, but cost was a factor. I have an obsession with vinyl decals and thought, why not do it in vinyl, so if I screw it up I can take it off. It was in the planning stage for only a few weeks. I just couldn't wait!
The hood piece was harder than we had anticipated, finding vinyl big enough, and getting it on strait was tough. 4th time was a charm!
I still have more stuff to go on the outside (more decals) and I want to do some stuff to the interior. Painting door panels, dash controls, vents and dial covers would be cool. I may even replace the steering wheel. But I have to wait till the sun comes out again, and money falls from the sky.
