| I ran accross Road Squadron through the film Starwoids. Since then I had the idea of what I could do with my SUV. It wasn't until last month when i wrecked the front left quarter panel that i realized now was the perfect opportunity to run with the idea. So I have a gray Toyota 4 Runner, right?...."All Terrain" vehicle, right?....you got it......an All Terrain Armored Transport, aka AT-AT! I'd like to go all out with a custom paint job to make it look like as though it's been outfitted with different panels from various different "spare parts". If I feel the paint job would be too expensive, vinyl decal is a viable alternative. In addition to raising it with a lift kit and adding custom wheels, i would like to install custom running bars that will be modeled after the side guns on the head of the AT-AT. The interior is in good shape, so i don't think i will strip it out to the bare metal, although that would look really cool! I wouldn't mind replacing the stock seats with some cool bucket seats. Ive seen some really cool custom window tints that i think would go really well, like chrome or silver, with the Imperial logo cut out and replaced with charcoal window tint! I've been thinking about doing this for a long time and now it's really going to happen! :-) |
